Terms of Service

Welcome to Conference Clash. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Conference Clash ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Conference Clash. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
One account per person. Do not share your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including in league chat
Post unlawful, hateful, sexual, or defamatory content
Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or use automated tools or bots
Scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
Interfere with the operation or security of the Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (league names, chat messages, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit that content.

5. Not gambling; no cash prizes

Conference Clash is a free, skill-based game played for entertainment and bragging rights only. We do not accept entry fees, do not offer cash or cash-equivalent prizes, and do not facilitate wagering of any kind. Nothing on the Service is an offer or solicitation to gamble. Do not use Conference Clash in connection with wagering.

6. No affiliation with third parties

Conference Clash is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, ESPN, any college, university, athletic conference, broadcaster, or any team. Team names and conference names are used for identification only.

7. Third-party data

Game results, schedules, and rankings are provided by third parties, including College Football Data (CFBD). We do not guarantee that this data is accurate, complete, or timely. Scoring may be corrected retroactively if third-party data is updated.

8. Service changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including rules, scoring, and features, with or without notice.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date". Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
